A clear rule
Copy an approved field, calculate a total, or create a record when a form arrives. A conventional workflow is often enough.

Understand what automation can do, where AI helps, and how to choose a useful first project.
An automation is a set of steps that runs when something happens: a form is submitted, a file arrives, or a scheduled time comes around. It can move information, check it, organise it and prepare the next action.
Other useful starting points include bringing a recurring report together, keeping two systems in sync, or preparing a document for approval. Start with the step that costs your team time or causes mistakes.
Keep the limits visible. Missing information, unexpected inputs and decisions with consequences need a clear way to reach a person.
Copy an approved field, calculate a total, or create a record when a form arrives. A conventional workflow is often enough.
Sort incoming text, extract a draft summary or suggest a category. AI can help, with checks appropriate to the task.
AI outputs can be wrong. A useful design makes its sources and limits clear, checks the result, and keeps an accountable person involved where needed. You do not need an “AI system” if a straightforward integration solves the problem.
For sensitive work, we can assess running the system on your own infrastructure. Access, monitoring and failure handling still need to be agreed, and its output still needs checking.
Pick one repeated task or one customer journey. Bring an ordinary example of how it works today, including the awkward parts.
We can help turn those answers into a sensible first scope. Sometimes the right result is a website; sometimes it is a connection between tools, or a small internal application.
Work through one repeated task, its inputs and the point where a person should review it. You can keep the draft or bring it into an editable project brief.
